20090423th1036, Dell Vostro 420 Power Button Design Flaw Defect

The power button on the Dell Vostro 420 has a design flaw. When gently
depressed about 1/16 of an inch, it works fine. When inexperienced or
less careful users press the power button in beyond it's intended
function, the button becomes stuck.

To remedy this problem, use clear packing tape to cover the power
button. This will prevent the button from being forcefully pushed in
beyond 1/16 inch. Once an individual has forced the button in, it may
be more likely to have a problem, so the tape is helpful in this regard.
